Message from the Principal

Since its founding in 1980, Waseda EDU Japanese Language School, Oji Campus has provided Japanese language education for over 40 years, placing great importance on “harmony” and a “spirit of play.” “Harmony” reflects the Japanese mindset of balance and a unique cultural identity. Through our classes, students have opportunities to experience traditional culture, allowing them to discover the fun of Japan and become lifelong admirers of its culture.

What we have always valued is respecting each student as an individual and supporting them every step of the way. Our teachers and staff work closely together to understand each student and provide personalized support in achieving their goals. In addition, we offer four courses tailored to students’ objectives, creating a system that meets a wide range of needs—from higher education to employment.

Through Japanese language education, we nurture the “seeds” of limitless potential and the perspective to view the world broadly. We aim to develop individuals who can confidently say “yes” to themselves, embrace their strengths, and actively contribute both in Japan and globally.

While carrying on our tradition of empathizing with students and celebrating their growth together, we continue to envision the future and evolve to meet changing needs.
