Students who wish to work after graduating from Japanese language school can choose the Business Japanese Course. This course is designed for students who want to practice business-level Japanese conversation and for those aiming to work at Japanese companies under the residence status of “Engineer / Specialist in Humanities / International Services” after graduating from Japanese language school.
Depending on the desired employer, students in this class aim for employment at listed Japanese companies or Japanese-affiliated companies.

  • International Human Resource Development Co., Ltd., which operates Waseda EDU Japanese Language School, is licensed as a Registered Support Organization and a paid employment placement business. In addition, while working with group companies engaged in the employment and development of foreign talent, we provide job-hunting support and introductions to companies.

  • Interviews are conducted by qualified career consultants (nationally certified) and other teachers with strong expertise in career guidance.   • I’m at the N2 level. Will I be able to keep up?

    If you are at the N2 level, there will be no problem. Before enrollment, we conduct an in-school interview and provide support tailored to each student’s level.

  • Is graduation from a four-year university required?

    Yes. As a requirement for obtaining the residence status of “Engineer / Specialist in Humanities / International Services,” graduation from a four-year university is required.

  • What kinds of companies can I work for?

    You can seek employment in a wide range of industries, mainly listed companies and major Japanese-affiliated companies, including IT, trading, manufacturing, and finance.

  • How long can I continue job-hunting after graduation?

    With the “Designated Activities” residence status, you can continue job-hunting for up to one year. We will continue to support you during this period as well.

  • Can I have a part-time job?

    Yes. We also introduce part-time jobs based on your Japanese ability and preferred industry. Gaining practical work experience can also be advantageous for your job-hunting.
