Regarding the Use of Personal Information

International Human Resource Development Co., Ltd. (JCLI Japanese Language School) (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) recognizes that appropriately handling personal information of customers and students and protecting it to prevent infringement of individual rights and interests is of utmost importance. The Company has established and implemented a personal information protection policy and related regulations, and ensures that all officers and employees comply with them to properly protect personal information.

1. What is Personal Information

The Company defines personal information as information that can identify a specific individual. This includes names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, gender, family member names, bank account numbers, records and results of services provided, and any other information provided by customers that can identify an individual either alone or in combination with other information.

2. Acquisition and Use of Personal Information

The Company acquires personal information through fair and lawful means. When collecting personal information, the Company will notify, publicly announce, or clearly state the purpose of use, and will use the information only within the scope necessary to achieve that purpose.

3. Provision to Third Parties

The Company will not disclose or provide personal data to third parties, whether in Japan or abroad, without prior consent of the individual, except where permitted by law or conducted in accordance with legal procedures.

4. Outsourcing

In order to provide better services, the Company may outsource the handling of personal data to contractors located in Japan or overseas within the scope necessary to achieve the intended purpose, and may provide personal data to such contractors. When doing so, the Company will select contractors that appropriately handle personal information and will establish necessary agreements to ensure proper management, thereby striving to protect customers’ personal information.

5. Joint Use

The Company may jointly use customers’ personal information with its parent company (Meiko Network Japan Co., Ltd.) and affiliated companies within the scope necessary to achieve the intended purpose. In such cases, the entity responsible for management will be the Company, parent company, or affiliated company that directly obtained the personal information from the customer.

6. Handling of Personal Information

The Company will take reasonable organizational and technical preventive and corrective measures to protect personal information from risks such as unauthorized access, loss, damage, or leakage.

7. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

The Company will comply with laws and regulations related to personal information protection and will continuously review and improve its personal information protection system in response to changes in the environment.

8. Requests for Disclosure and Inquiries

The Company will respond to inquiries regarding personal information. If you wish to request disclosure, correction, suspension of use, etc. of your personal data held by the Company, please contact the inquiry desk below. Please note that we may request documents to verify that the requester is the individual concerned.
